    you who save by your right hand
    those who take refuge in you from their foes.

My Lord and my God,
show me the wonders of Your great love.
As dawn unfolds, stretching bright wings
over a world shrouded in night’s dark,
encircle me with Your divine embrace
that has held me since You formed me in my mother’s womb.

As I take each step, placing one foot before another,
enlighten my path with the loving gift of Your guidance.
And as I breathe each breath of air in my lungs,
remind me of Your loving care sustaining me each moment.
When stabs of joy pierce my heart with goodness
help me see that you are behind each good gift.
And when troubles or griefs grip my soul,
help me know You will never leave or forsake me.
