There has been a lot of movement within religious circles on the topics of creation and evolution.
In some ways, this is not new. In other ways, there is a new interest on the part of some religious leaders to emphasize the compatibility of evolution with a belief in the biblical God.
Following on the popularity of ‘Darwin Day’, the Dean of the Colleges of Letters and Sciences at UW-Osh Kosh organized ‘Evolution Sunday’ to discuss and celebrate the links between Charles Darwin’s theory of evolution and the Christian God.
Regardless of what your views are on this topic, it is still one of the most hotly debated topics in the public square today. We plan to address the issue with a guest speaker at The Ave on Tuesday, March 21, in the midst of our upcoming Hot Topics series. If you’re around, stop by. If not, listen to it sometime on mp3.
