The Sports Life in College

There was an interesting article on life on sports teams in college with particular reference to the Northwestern Womens Soccer Team hazing incidents here.

The focus of the article is on why women in sports are trying to rival the bad behavior of college men in sports. However, the implications move beyond this to both the terrible debauchery happening on campuses and the drive for equality between men and women in both good and bad ways.

For me, this is simply one more reason why we as followers of Jesus have to be living out and telling about a more true and satisfying way of life, that is ultimately more in-line with why we were created by God.

Lord, help us and have mercy upon us.
