The Love That Seeks

For those who heard my message last night at The Ave, here is the link to the story I referenced about a man, Chen Si, who patrols the Nanjing Bridge over the Yangtze River in China for those intending to jump to their death.

One of my favorite lines from the story is: “With each new life he saves, Chen’s burden grows.”

It reminds me of the power of love within a human heart.

It reminds me of God’s burdened love for us – with each new life He saves, His burden grows.
