A Journey Like No Other…

This year, as a part of the season of Lent, the people of Eastbrook Church wrote a Lenten Devotional on the book of Job entitled “Finding God in the Darkness” to be used alone or in conjunction with our message series of the same name. You are invited to join us on this journey to the Cross and Resurrection of Jesus Christ.

After being plunged into deep suffering, a good portion of Job’s story rotates around the big questions of life, like “why does suffering happen?” “What is God doing when we suffer?” Job’s suffering eventually leads him to come face to face with God in order to understand a basic truth of life we all must realize: there are some things we can know and other things we simply cannot know.
