3,500 gathered at the Columbus, OH, Vineyard Church to participate in a meaningful celebration of and commitment to lived out biblical justice. The gathering was organized by 40 churches and Sojourners, an evangelical social-action organization started by Jim Wallis. Matt Redman, famous UK worship leader who has written popular worship songs such as “Better Is One Day” and “Blessed Be Your Name,” led worship for the event.
This is an interesting statement on where the evangelical church is at today.
Is it the time, as Wallis said, to unleash “a new generation of abolitionists”?
Here’s an advertisement video for this event.
