Location – a poem

people speak while light reflects
voices mesh, merge, and rebound
in, around, and into my ears
cars surge back and forth going
somewhere fast to
nowhere in particular
place in relation to place
finds its significance only
in relationship of place to place
location dismembered from
relative locality loses identity
it is all relationally locative
