How is God Speaking to You (week 6)

A number of people have joined me this year in reading through the Bible in a year together in 2011, I am dropping a blog post in here every week to give you all a chance to share how God is speaking to you through the readings, or some of the challenges or questions you are encountering as you read. This gives us the unique opportunity to keep a record together of how God speaks through the year to all of us.

So, how is God speaking to you in week six of our journey through the  Bible?

What questions has your reading raised?

How is the daily reading going?

  1. I had a huge blessing while reading through the Bible (in a year) this week. Psalm 32:8 states
The Lord says “I will guide you along the best pathway for your life”
This was the scripture for the day our son was going on an important job interview. I was blessed to be reminded of how the Lord cares about the details of my life and has a good plan for us. I was able to share this scripture with him before the interview and have such gratitude to our amazing God to put this very scripture on this special day. He got the job, but I have seen a glimpse of God and His glory that I would have missed if I wasn’t using this plan to go through His Word.
    Psalm 31:7-8,14 says
I am overcome with joy because of your unfailing love for you have seen my troubles and you care about the anguish of my soul.
But I am trusting you, Oh, Lord, saying “You are my God”
The heartaches of parenting would be a nightmare with our God’s gentle hands holding us all up.
God’s word is powerful. Please continue to remind Eastbrook that it isn’t too late to join in and read. God wants to reveal Himself and bless us.

    1. Dan,

Can you help me understand your question better? Are you asking about the way in which God spoke to Moses face to face since God says, “you cannot see my face, for no one may see me and live” (Exodus 33:20)?
