Saturday Prayer 39

Praise the name of the Lord, for His name alone is exalted; His splendor is above the earth and the heavens. – Psalm 148:13

LORD,
I praise Your name this morning.
All sorts of voices clamor for recognition and praise
but You alone are exalted.
Your grandeur soars through all the earth.
the heavens speak of You
as does all life upon the earth
With my mouth, mind and heart
I express my praise to You, oh God
Who is like You?
There is no one.
Who else is worthy of such total praise?
There is none.

May my life today – my thoughts, words and deeds –
express the praise You are due, my God.
