Lord, thank You for this new day. Thank You for the sunshine and blue skies. Thank You for my family and friends. Thank You for the privilege of being a part of Your work and ministry in this world. Thank You for Your Word which is trustworthy and true. Thank You for the challenges I face that push me back in greater dependence upon You.
Today, there are many things to do and many things on my mind. Lord, please provide all that I truly need for this day. For those things I’ve planned and prepared, I surrender my plans and preparations to You. For those unplanned interruptions, I ask that You give me grace to approach them from Your perspective.
In all things, may my life echo back thanksgiving and praise to You.
