Saturday Prayer 33

Lord, thank You for the morning when I can meet with You.

Thank You for the beginning again – the new day, fresh skies and sunrises, eyes re-opened and mind cleaned.

Thank You for the opening of possibilities through the minutes and hours. Thank You for renewed energy for all that the day has yet to hold.

Thank You for the gift of Your Word – reading the scriptures, pondering the truths within, and finding my soul remade.

Thank You for a warm cup of tea – the feeling of my fingers through the handle and the tea gently moving from my mouth past my tongue and down my throat.

Thank You for my family. Bless them with refreshment and renewal in You today. Grow them deeper with You.

Thank You for my life – the ups and downs, the ins and outs – all of my life is a gift from You.
