Saturday Prayer 51

Hear me, Lord, and answer me, for I am poor and needy. (Psalm 86:1 NIV)

oh, Father,

you see me,
both what I am and what I am not.
because of Your mercy,
open my life more fully to Your power and presence.
grace me with Your goodness
and widen my heart with Your compassion.
ground me in Your truth
and make me active with Your justice.

thank You, Father, for who You are:
forgiving and good,
abounding in love,
a joy-bringer,
a guardian,
trustworthy,
and One who answers prayer.

all my hope is in You. a
