“The Call, Belief and Proclamation, how can they hear without us?” – a message from Dr. Jack Sara

This past weekend at Eastbrook, we began our weeklong MissionsFest with special guest speaker, Dr. Jack Sara, focusing on Romans 10:13-17. Jack currently serves as the President of Bethlehem Bible College and has been a long-time friend and ministry partner. This was particularly poignant given all that is happening in the Holy Land at this moment.

You can find the entire schedule for this year’s MissionsFest here.

You can find the message outline and video below. You can access the entire series here. Join us for weekend worship in-person or remotely via Eastbrook at Home.

Unpacking Romans 10:13-17:

  1. The Promise of Salvation (Romans 10:13) A. “For everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved.”
  2. The importance of Belief (Romans 10:14-15) A. “How then will they call on him in whom they have not believed?”
  3. The Commission that God gave each one of us to Proclaim (Romans 10:15-17)
  4. Personal stories of how hearing the Gospel transformed lives.

Dig Deeper

This week dig deeper in one or more of the following ways:

  • Explore the Lobby this Sunday, and in particular, the various books that we recommend on deepening your understanding of missions and how to proclaim the Gospel.
  • Explore the Lausanne Movement’s website and the various resources they provide on the topic of missions and evangelism: www.lausanne.org
  • Spend time in prayer, listening and responding to God’s movement in your life, and reflect on where He is leading you to share words of encouragement, good news, faith, and salvation to those in your life.
