This coming Sunday at Eastbrook Church we begin a new preaching series entitled “Ordinary People in God’s Extraordinary Work.” This series is the second of a three-part exploration of the Book of Acts this Fall at Eastbrook, including two other series “Essential Church” and “Jesus, King of the Nations.”
In “Ordinary People in God’s Extraordinary Work” we will walk through Acts, chapters 7-15, looking at God’s work amidst the early church, using unique individuals and their unique shape for God’s glory.
Here is the week-by-week schedule for the sermon series:
November 2 – “Stephen: A Heart for God” – Acts 6:8-7:60
November 9 – “Philip: Moved by the Holy Spirit” – Acts 8:1-40
November 16 – “Peter: Experiencing God’s New Vision” – Acts 10-11
November 23 – “Barnabas: The Son of Encouragement” – Acts 4:35-37; 9:26-28; 11:22-30; 12:25-13:3
