Saturday Prayer 4

I will praise You, Lord, among the nations;
I will sing of You among the peoples.
For great is Your love, reaching to the heavens;
Your faithfulness reaches to the skies.
Be exalted, O God, above the heavens;
Let Your glory be over all the earth.
Psalm 57:9-11, NIV

Lord, please deepen me with You. I have a clear sense that I need to grow in my own depth of life and love with You. I am hearing from You that it is not about rearranging my schedule or even saying ‘no’ to more things right now. Rather, it is about saying ‘yes’ to You from the start of the day and then remaining surrendered to You purposefully through each minute of the day. It was written of the first disciples: ‘so they went and saw where He [Jesus] was staying, and they spent [remained] that day with Him’ (John 1:39, NIV).

I would like to remain with You throughout this day. I surrender my fears, my joys, my needs, my stresses…all into Your hands.
