Saturday Prayer 7

The Lord reigns, let the earth rejoice; let the distant shores rejoice. Clouds and thick darkness surround Him; righteousness and justice are the foundation of His throne. (Psalm 97:1-2, NIV)

Lord Father, this morning I rejoice in You. Thank You for sleep. Thank You for a bed to sleep in. Thank You for the  relationships You have provided for us that enable me to thrive, feel encouraged, and grow.

Thank You for Your grace and encouragement through the day yesterday. Thank You for space now to think, pray, and talk with You.

Lord Father, I pray for my family and friends today. Please give them strength and extra grace today. Pour out the power of Your presence on them.

  1. Especially lately, I have been thinking about all the blessings God has put in my life. So many “things” but mostly the people that God has placed in my life and how very grateful I am for them. Not only in my time of “need” but always. God is so very good to us. Praise His name!!

  2. The Lord reigns! That’s enough right there to cause me to pause, to be stilled and simple worship Him! Oh the power, the comfort and the joy to be under His authority!
