One of the funniest family stories I have to share took place 45 years ago when my brother was five years old. Our maternal grandparents lived down the street from us. My grandfather was to put it mildly a story teller. He convinced my brother that he had a flock of invisible chickens of all different colours. Anytime some one would come to visit our family, my little brother would anxiously asked them, “You didn’t run over any of my Paw-Paw’s chickens did you?” Guests would stare at my brother while saying, “Chickens? What chickens?” Then my little brother would earnestly tell them all about his Paw-Paw’s invisible chickens of many colours.
