The prophet Isaiah foretold about Jesus, the light of the world. In Isaiah 9:2 he writes, “The people walking in darkness have seen a great light; on those living in the land of deep darkness a light has dawned.”
Hundreds of years later, Jesus was born and proclaimed: “I am the light of the world. Whoever follows me will not walk in darkness, but will have the light of life” (John 8:12).
