“Encountering a Broken World” – a message from Nehemiah 1:1-4

This past weekend at Eastbrook, we began a new series from the book of Nehemiah entitled “Rebuild and Repair: Engaging the World with Nehemiah.” I preached the opening message of this series entitled, “Encountering a Broken World,” which was based on Nehemiah 1:1-4.

Dig Deeper

This week dig deeper in one or more of the following ways:

  • Memorize Nehemiah 1:4
  • Take some time to pray about the brokenness of the world, perhaps using a guide such as this to help you
  • Read through all of Ezra and Nehemiah with a study Bible to help you get a sense of the historical background and overall flow of this portion of biblical history
