This past Sunday at Eastbrook Church we begin a new preaching series entitled “Growing in Faith: Exploring 2 Peter.” 2 Peter is written to a group of early believers in the midst of confusing and trying times. The author invites them to live by faith in Jesus through God’s power and promise until the end when Jesus returns. There are invitations to pay attention to falsehood and stay the course of faith. In our tumultuous times, the apostolic teaching here is just as fresh as ever.
