A Conversation Surrounded by Failure (John 21:15-17)
Part 1 – Peter’s failed boldness (21:15)
- Jesus: “do you love me more than these?” (21:15)
- Peter: “I will lay down my life for you” (13:37)
Part 2 – Peter’s failed love (21:16)
- Jesus now: “do you love me?”
- Jesus then: “If you love me, keep my commands” (14:15)
