Beginning to Live with Hope

Beginning sermon slideThis weekend at Eastbrook Church I continued our three-week series entitled “Beginning to Live.” Last week we talked about faith and this week’s focus was on hope.

My message focused on how Jesus’ resurrection from the dead allows us to live with hope both about our current days and for eternity beyond our life. The basic outline of the message is as follows:

  • What is Hope? (Romans 5:1-5)
  • Hope’s Opposite
  • Hope’s Companions (Hebrews 12:1-3)
  • Living with Present Hope
  • Living with Eternal Hope

You can listen to my message at the Eastbrook web-site here. You can also follow the RSS feed for Eastbrook sermons or follow Eastbrook Church on Twitter or Facebook.
