This past weekend, Pastor Paul Bland, launched us into “Dwell:MissionsFest 2016” with an amazing message on what it means to be an embodied presence as a reflection of Jesus’ incarnation. Here are a few statements that I wrote down while Paul was preaching:
God came as an embodied presence: fully God and fully man.
What did Jesus have to adjust in His life in order to reach me?
Our God is no mere abstraction and neither should we be in our approach to His mission!
Go as sent people with an embodied presence.
Be what you should be right where you are.
