I’m thrilled that this summer (2018), we are launching into a summer of prayer at Eastbrook Church. This is a unique opportunity for us to seek the Lord, intercede before Him on behalf of our church and world, and also create intentional space to listen to God in humility. Along with summer-long opportunities for children, students and adult, each month has a special focus with church-wide activities.
In June, we want to focus on learning to pray wherever we are. As a church, we hope to cover the entire month of June in prayer with Eastbrookers praying for 15 minutes at a time, wherever they are. You can sign up for those time-slots here:
In July, we want to focus on learning how to pray together with others. Join us for a week of 24/7 prayer on campus, integrated with worship, intercessory prayer guides, and prayer stations. We will also be encouraging our Life Groups to engage with prayer on a deeper level. Contact Pastor Femi to find out how you can help with this event or participate.
In August, we want to focus on learning how to pray together as a church community. On Saturday, August 18, sign up to participate in a city-wide intercessory prayer walk in all of Milwaukee’s neighborhoods. Contact Pastor Jim to find out how you can help with this event or participate.
